This book was an interesting abridged version of a very important time in history. I had heard the name Malcolm X, but I never knew his background or about some of the events that he started or was involved in.
Sometimes I just wonder, what would have happened if Malcolm X had never gone to jail? Would he have ever found religion? Or would he have still been in the street doing what he was doing before, with no source of mental stability, or proper guidance in changing his life and making a better life, from the lifestyle he was already living?
Something that I have been interested in learning more about has been the Muslims religion. I remember Muslims from my corner store talking about their religion a few months ago, I was somewhat interested but had a lot of other stuff on my mind, and that is why I couldn’t learn more at the time.
I related to and learned more about this article because there’s some valuable information on Malcolm himself that I was not aware of. Information that I have yet to come across in the book of his autobiography. This article helps me look forward to reading more and finishing this book. I also look forward to finding out any information that’s not in the book.
This is an essay about the third and fourth chapters of The Autobiography of Malcolm X. This essay shows certain points of major change occurring in these chapters. I chose to read this because, I was told this is a great story, and I know myself that Malcolm was a great, powerful man. Malcolm moved and educated a lot of people. I encourage people to pick up this book, read and fully comprehend every aspect of the story.
I am reading a bestselling national book, called The Autobiography of Malcolm X as told to Alex Haley. I feel that the first chapter is very interesting, and grabs the reader’s attention. Chapter one, pages 1-23 might leave a reader feeling open-minded to how things used to be in the life of Malcolm X. An example shown on page 10. As told by Malcolm X
This book about the life of Malcolm X is really getting interesting.I didn't know that Malcolm X had to go through all of these hardships as a kid. It is unbelievable that as your house burns down the firemen and the policemen that are supposed to come to your rescue watch it burn down as you watch in horror as your house it being torn apart by the flames. I found it funny that his mother was more educated then his father and every time she back talked him she would get beat by him.
