Two days ago, on April 16, 2010, the movie "Death at a Funeral" was released across the U.S. Less than three years ago, on August 17, 2007, the movie "Death at a Funeral" was released across the U.S. Technically they are different movies: the 2007 version being a British black comedy and the 2010 version an American film that takes black comedy a little more literally. But with the same screenwriter (Dean Craig) and the same actor in a critical role (Peter Dinklage), very little seems different. Roger Ebert describes the 2010 film as "almost a scene-by-scene remake of a 2007 British movie with the same title".
