In AP English I'm currently reading a book, Dante's Inferno. It chronicles Dante's journey through the nine circles of Hell as Virgil, the Roman poet, guides him. The language is pretty difficult and the rhyming stanzas throw me off because sometimes I find myself searching for the rhymes more than really reading. I'm almost done with the eighth circle of Hell, where Dante's been spending time among the corrupt. He's on the bridge above the final Bolgia, or pit, which contains the falsifiers, or those who lie or make things up, such as the alchemists and counterfeiters.
