It’s that one morning, closer to March or April, when you feel the first warm, spring breeze. The scent of flowers and raindrops clinging to the air and brushing across your face. It brings the thoughts of freedom and fun to the weary school kids. The kids trying to get by in their classes. Beach days, fireworks, and dark brown tans are not far away as the sun comes back and melts away all of the sadness winter left behind. Fresh and bright; they are the two words that can make anyone smile. They spark the imagination with new adventure, new people, and endless creativity.
Organic food is good for us! Right? It's certainly more expensive, and defiantly advertised towards "heath-conscious" people. Yet, there are apparently some articles out there saying it's not actually that much healthier, if healthier at all. Being someone who grew up eating and drinking organic food and being told it was better for me, this shocked me. So, I've decided for a research project I'll look into the argument of whether or not organic food really is worth the money. I'll gather evidence from both sides, choose the convincing side, and refute the loser with my new-found knowledge.
For how much water there is in the world, a lot of people still suffer from not having fresh water. It is not a matter of us not having enough fresh water to go around, it is a matter of who has the money. Turkey is in the process of making a pipeline that will transport 19.8 billion gallons of water annually to the Turkish Republic of northern Cyprus. The project as a whole will cost 500 million U.S. dollars if not more. There is enough water to go around for everyone to have an enough and be healthy, we just don't distribute it right.
Human like to explore the world that we live in. We have pretty much explored most of the land masses that cover the Earth but haven't come close to exploring all of the oceans. How much water is there actually on the Earth? Water coveres 71 percent of the Earth's surface. Water is all around us in liquid, vapor, and solid forms. The oceans contain 96.5 percent of Earth's water(http://water.usgs.gov/edu/earthhowmuch.html) If all the water on the Earth was put into a ball it would have a volume of 22,339 mi3.
Hat Creek Burger Co., located on Bee Caves Road, is a good family-friendly fast-food restaurant complete with a playground and service with a smile. It also has that "all-natural" 100% ground meat and fresh cut fries idea that people seem to be into these days. However, if you decide to go and sample this fast-food chain, eat in, because the drive thru takes the fast out of fast-food.
Listening to music in different languages to interpret some of the culture of a certain region has become a hobby of mine. I get yelled at for spending too much time watching overseas shows and music videos. Many people say that music is their life but to me music is another language that the world needs to learn to stay connected. Music accompanied by dance becomes the ultimate communication skill because even if the person can not understand what you are saying your expressions or your dancing style give them an idea of you as a person.
My playlist mainly Korean but not all of it, I also listen to Hindi, Bengali, English and Chinese music. It doesn't matter the language as long as the music is good and it makes you feel good it's considered good music.
