A couple significant events of the 21st century that are: the election of Barrack Obama, The end to the Harry Potter series, and the death of Michael Jackson. Though all completely unrelated, I would like to emphasize their occurrence, their importance, and their impact.
Some crazy events have occurred in this past decade. From real talk news, to celebrity drama, to hash tags, and deaths- the 00's are definitely higher than 0 on the interest scale. We'll start with the tragic terrorist attack on the Twin Towers in New York City. Two planes were hi-jacked and essentially kamikazee'd into the buildings of the world trade center. Many people died, know someone who died, or barely escaped death. I am one of those people. My mom was working in New York City on Park Ave. for an advertising company called Cooper Direct.
