We live in a secretive society where not enough questions are being asked. We simply live our lives without even pondering if everything around us is what it actually seems. How can we be so sure that our country is "fine" and not in a state of emergency? That aliens live among us? Or that global warming is a hoax? I feel that the government hides a plethora of things from the American public for various reasons.

My topic is about rap music and how it changed over the past years. One of the things that made me interested in writing about this was that I did a previous post named “Rap Is Dead?” and it caused people to agree and disagree. Another thing that made me interested in writing about this is I listen to a lot of rap music from the 90s and from this time period and you could see a big difference and I wanna know if it changed in a good way or a bad way. Something I already know is what rappers rap about is kind off different from what rappers rap about in the past.

Maria Robinson once said, “Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a ending.” This quote means different things to a lot of people. But for me I know that his quote is saying how someone can always evolve and change their lives. The way you start your life and how you acted are already in the past. But you can always change the your future. Start to act a different way and change the things that you don’t like. This can change who you come out to be in the future. This quote can relate a lot to my life.

Christmas season is finally here! It's apparent for anyone who looks out the door. People are running around, standing in line for stores, searching for the best deals on gifts, and baking hundreds upon hundreds of cookies, cakes, and every Christmas treats imaginable.

Although there is no snow covering the ground the Christmas mood is being set. Decorations, music, and movies are everywhere you look. While putting up my Christmas decorations around the house I got to thinking, what is it about the holidays that makes people so crazy and yet so excited?

They say a picture is worth 1000 words. Often times when we see a picture, it is the meaning behind it that is more significant than the actual image itself. Going through an old family photo album or looking at pictures of you and your friends brings back memories, not necessarily because of the photo itself, but because of what it represents and what it makes you think of when you see it.
