This past week I have been totally enthralled along with the rest of the country with the Cinderella story of Melanie Oudin. She has captivated the American tennis scene and given hope to young players everywhere who hope to break into the professional tennis scene. Her records so far have been pretty amazing for a mere 17 year old but they include losing in the first round of the austrian and French open but she is slowly getting better in Wimbeldon she reach the 3rd round losing to Radwanska then in the U.S open she reached her first ever quarterfinal of a grand slam losing to Caroline Wosniacki. She showed enormous potential and maturity through out these tough matches beating Maria Sharpova, Elena Yanokovic, and Dementiava. These matches showed enormous concentration and belief in her self.
