For a long time, the question of nature vs nurture has been important to me because there is a huge difference between serial killers and regular murderers which brings up the question of why. Why is there such a difference between the two killers and is it a genetic predisposition or a effect of their childhood environment? My belief is that it takes a certain combination between genes and environment to create a truly horrendous serial killer.
