Oil for blood; a game where oil is a big deal, just like in real life
Today, I played a game called Oiligarchy. I found it at http://molleindustria.org/en/oiligarchy. I got interested in this game because making money and playing strategically sounds like a lot of fun, so I gave it a shot.
Oiligarchy is about playing in the world and making a bunch of money by finding oil in the land, then using your money to extract it. It is a lot of fun to play because you get to participate in the government and make money for your company, and therefore you just keep doing that over and over, until there is no more oil.
The game works like this: there are many pieces of land that you are allowed to work on, and by exploring them, by going to the top of the options sections, you get to and exploring the places that have question marks, meaning that there might be oil in them. The bigger the question marks, there is more of a chance to have oil there.
