The topic that i have chosen for my research is why is soccer a complex sport. This topic is interesting for me because soccer is my favorite sport and i love talking about soccer. The things i knew about this topic before i research sources were that one must maintain balance and make quick decisions before the opponent takes the ball away from you. I also knew the different ways that one can kick the ball. Some interesting things that i wanted to know before searching up sources were how does one have to kick the ball to be able to do those different kind of kicks.
Recently, I’ve been feeling very nervous. Honestly, I don’t know why but I have been thinking of things I’ve never thought of before. I tried asking a couple of my friends if they ever felt like I do, but I feel like no one understands me. Why do I dream things about people getting hurt? I had this dream of my boyfriend getting shot. I had a dream of my mom telling me she loves me and she slowly disappears. It scared me, and I don’t know if anyone has ever had dreams like that.
Something I have become interested in learning more about is how to capture a wide range of colors in a photo to express a complicated mood. I started to become interested in Richard Misrach because his color is so extraordinary and his contrast is just amazing, and really captures me and keeps me staring into the photo and thinking about it. So far I have learned that Richard Misrach tries to express these complex ideas by being ambiguous and striking the audience in such a way that they might be perplexed by the color and content of a photo.
