The aspect of place I tried to capture in this image was one of the main things that not just Rockland but Maine state in general is known for. I would say that this photograph isn’t of something very recognizeable if you have been to Rockland. This shot was taken mainly for a coastal Maine kind of view. This shot is a little cliché and maybe you could call postcard worthy. Some compositional elements in this photo are lead lines. The lead line in this photo would be of the lobsters back. Your eyes start more towards the head of the lobster and work their way down to the bottom left hand corner of the picture. This roll of film was definitely easier than the first roll of film we did. A 5 filter was used on this shot and I don’t see much to change with it. I like the way most everything looks good and the shading on the houses with the way the light was on the houses casting a shadow.
