toys

 Inspired by a couple different websites of people using toys to tell a story, our assignment was to tell a story about what toys do on their free time. I used playmobile people and showed how they play basketball. If you want to see the four pictures, heres a link to the set on Flickr. In the first photo, the guy is lining up how he will shoot a free throw. Then in the second photo they realize the ball is too big for them and it takes several of them to move it and a few of them fall over. Then in the third photo they figure out how to roll it around with a person on top of it. In the last photo, they realize they won't get it anywhere so the guy on the top stands there and yells at everyone because no one else can get up there and he's now in charge. 

In these pictures I was trying to make it look like the playmobile guy was being ran over, and attacked by aliens. I was also trying to to make it look like the playmobile guys were carrying a basketball. I was tryingto get up really close and making it look like it was real, I think it turned out pretty well but you can tell it wasn't. Also the pictures were kind of foggy but it turned out pretty well.

For my photography class, we were given an assignment to take pictures of our old toys while they were out on an adventure.  I created a story where my old Barbies were looking for food. In this picture, they are happy because they just got the fridge open. I didn't edit this in photoshop.
