Here is a great acion shot like the one i want to acomplish.

The question I hope to answer over the course of the year through photography, is what are the looks of water while it is in movement. I chose this question out of my ten possible because I felt that becasue we live in utah where it rains and snows and hails alot I would be able to find alot of different forms of water in movement.

For this action photo, I took a picture of my mom shaking a flashlight in a dark room. This is an example of blurred motion. For the shutter speed I put the knob on B which means bulb. By putting it on this setting it makes it so you can hold down the button for as long as you want and the moment will still show up in the photo. This communicates actions because it’s a moving light and it captures every time it moved in a time span of about ten seconds. It stands out clearly on the background because the lighting is white and hints of gray against a black background. While shooting this picture I had to remember to put the shutter speed on B and hold down the button for as long as the light was moving. While shooting this picture, my challenge was making sure the flashlight was showing up in the camera and directing my mom where to point it. What I like most about this picture is the different shapes in it and you can make out different things of it.

I took this picture sitting down on a tree next to the corner flag at one of the Judge girl's soccer games. This picture exemplifies motion in an interesting way. Obviously this is quite a strange pose but it was she had just finished kicking a corner kick. All of her momentum was still following through her leg and that is why it is raised up.
