Game I Love & Ayiti: Cost of Life
I don't usually play games, unless we are talking about board games. Around middle school, I was in a Scrabble tournament; it did not go so well, but I loved the game so much. I own a Playstation 3, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo 64, Nintendo DS, and two generations of the Gameboy. I was an avid Pokemon player, but now I find it extremely dull traveling around, trying to gradually and slowly level your pokemon to 100. Even though I only play a good five minutes on these toys for each week, I still want to own this game called Professor Layton.
Recently in class, we have played a game called Ayiti: Cost of Life. Students programmed this game so that people can realize how life is in Haiti. What I mean is that the Haitian don't live in luxury and work tirelessly for weak education and little money to support their families. Initially, I thought how messed up this game was. The first time I tried playing it, I kept losing money and my family already were infected with Malaria or bloody diarrhea. How can I cheat poverty and death???
