There has been an ongoing stance of if illegal drugs should be legalized. The most common awareness of this is on the matter if marijuana should be legalized. Many feel as if so many people use this drug and not just for the matter of getting “high” but some use it for the use of getting rid of their pain if they have a sickness, like cancer. “Over the past two decades, 16 states have de-criminalized possession of small amounts of marijuana, and 22 have legalized it for medical purposes.
In today’s industrialized and fast paced world, pollution is a quickly pressing issue that many cities are facing. Although as a society we are working to decrease overall pollution, in some cities, like Salt Lake City or Beijing, change cannot come soon enough. Air pollution presents a number harmful effects, threatening both our own health and our environment. In fact, people who live in areas with high densities of air pollution are 20% more likely to die from lung cancer than someone who lives in less polluted areas(http://www.conserve-energy-future.com/).
The legalization of drugs has become an important political issue in recent years. A very vocal population has arisen supporting the legalization of drugs such as marijuana which has widespread use in the U.S. I chose this issue because the laws surrounding drugs are rapidly changing so in the next several years it is likely a massive change in how drugs are treated could occur. This topic was also of interest to me because of how widespread the use of drugs is for the high school aged population in the U.S.
In Class today we took a political survey on Select Smart and Vote Easy. These websites asked a series of questionquestions concerning issues that we faced in America and our answer would consist of how we feel we should go about it and how important of an issue this is to us. The two issues I felt caught my attention the most were the legal standing of Marijuana and same sex marriage.
I think Barak would say these six words because he would be thinking about the dreams of the people who wrote the constitution, he would be thinking about how the dreams of the writers strive to provide us with life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

i think one of the most important issues in the upcoming presidential race is abortion. Abortion is an issue that will make some people angry no matter how it is resolved . It is an issue that thereare many different stances on. it will take many many votes to change anything.
