Culture is a beautiful thing. It makes each and every one of us unique, and defines who we are. It’s a way to express ourselves in a different light and gives us a connection to others with similar backgrounds. Many people have access to and practice more than one culture, especially here in America, where it’s so diverse. The amount of ethnicities, religions, and ways of life that are available to us are endless. This contributes to how we, as Americans, act as a whole. With all the cultural options, it highly impacts and affects our everyday life.
Greatness is right around the corner for some people, For others its going to take some work but you can achieve it. For those people whose goals are going to take some work it will NOT happen if you are not motivated. “Motivation- Motivation is literally the desire to do things.” Psychology today. If you're not motivated to do something its not going to happen. How are you going to go to college? How are you going to win that state championship? If you Work for something and you work for it everyday, if you sell out to do something its going to happen.
“If you’re trying to achieve, there will be roadblocks. I’ve had them; everybody has had them. But obstacles don’t have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don’t turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it.”
Something I have become interested in learning more about is how the background of a picture can accent the main focus of the picture. I started to become interested in Gary Winogrand because he expertly portrays many photographs in which the main focus of the picture would be worthless without the background. So far I have learned that Gary Winogrand was a photographer born and raised in New York City who mainly took pictures of the street.
