While perusing my facebook account today, I noticed a video that my sister had posted a link to on my wall. The video was part of a collection of clips that a boy had uploaded of his older brother, the infamous Stephen Quire. In each of the movies, the boy records his teenager brother become quite heated and irate. Among the many actions of the notorious Stephen, some of the most memorable moments of the video included Stephen punching out two panels of his wooden door. Curious to see more of these "freak-out" videos, I clicked on the link. It turns out that the original posted freak-out video of Stephen had received over 25,000,000 views. This astounded me and really caused me to consider the effects of YouTube now entrenched in our society.
