The attempt of the assignment was to find an ad where people were being decieved when they were watching it. The drug company that manufactures Cialis touts the drug for erectile dysfunction. Certainly, that is the purpose and function of the drug. But the commerical sets it up so that it implies that the only thing you need for a perfect love life is the drug Cialis for your erectile dysfunction. This is ridiculous, since loving someone is not just about being able to have sex with them, and being able to have sex is not the only thing involved in a love life. The commercial ends with two people in two bathtubs (I never did get that part) suggesting that they live happily ever after just because of Cialis. This commercial fits under the heading "A Story That's "too Good."
