One of the most repulsive and publicized ads of the 2010 election was in the senatorial election in the great state of Kentucky. The Democrat in the race, Jack Conway, ran a TV ad weeks before the election suggesting Ron Paul refuted Christianity, subjugated women, and worshipped something called "Aqua Buddha" in college. This ad was blatantly below the belt. Conway's attempt at character assassination represents everything deplorable in the American election process.

Don't get me wrong I deeply disagree with Mr. Paul and I surely wouldn't have voted for him. But Conway's shameless religious attack had no place. For this and other reasons, I feel sincerely for the good people of Kentucky and their absolutely abysmal choice for United States Senate. Such a reputable institution deserves neither of these men.
