The most interesting thing I have learned in my research about the origins of music and how it has evolved as time has progressed has been about the relation between huma evolution and music's evolution. Some scientists, and musicians, believe that it is possible that music its self is evolutionary and for that matter a gene or trait that some of us posses. David Huron, a professor of music at the University in Ohio in Columbus, has many reasons to believe that this is a given truth. His reasoning behind it is as follows. According to him, it is clear that music has been in our society since the beginning of the human race. As time has progressed and we have evolved, so has the music that we listen to, perform, and create.
