When I upload a picture for my profile on an account, it's usually an unmodified photo of a cute animal or cartoon. But for our technology Unit 1 Project in BSGE, I learned how to make an online avatar 100% me and original. The project had requirements: Use tools that are 100% online, have something that represents your personality (favorite animal, color, interests, etc.), something that represents your ethnicity, your school and that the avatar must be legible at 160 pixels wide by 200 pixels tall.
Educators will be pleased to know that learning does happen in a classroom. Only by accruing over time, has a student learned the various art forms of sleeping inconspicuously, cramming last semester's work in an hour, and hiding many shiny devices. Such techniques are unique to the student force--like skills passed down in a guild, or a cult. Only students will know. But in the popular Korean drama, “School 2013”, which plays on the social lives of a group of juniors at a competitive high school, the students have no reason to learn. Most just sleep in class.
I loved Shin, Hyunjoo’s journal, "Have You Ever Seen the Rain? And Who’ll Stop the Rain?" from Shin, Hyunjoon. "Have You Ever Seen The Rain? And Who'll Stop The Rain?: The Globalizing Project Of Korean Pop (K-Pop)." Inter-Asia Cultural Studies 10.4 (2009): 507-523. Academic Search Premier. Web. 13 Mar. 2012 (preview: http://www.tandfonline.com/doi/abs/10.1080/14649370903166150#preview ). I’m a K-pop fan girl and I’ve always wanted to know what really happens in the Korean music industry. I think this journal answered many of the questions I had, even though it was from 2009.
With such a bright red, It fills me with an emotion i cannot describe, From toe to head. With such silky smooth petals, It shines like red metal. Roses are usually meant for love, As well as are doves. Roses are beautiful Through the days and nights, With one look, It takes my heart up in flight.
I made this for my computer arts class. It's a Korean pop mix. The mix consists of Big Bang - Always, Big Bang - With U, 2NE1 - I Don't Care, and Separanza. I love Big Bang because their style is so unique. I love their shoes.
Feel free to download and please comment if you like/hate/don't know/don't care about Big Bang and 2NE1 and if you like/hate my mix. Constructive critisism is welcome. ^w^
Listening to music in different languages to interpret some of the culture of a certain region has become a hobby of mine. I get yelled at for spending too much time watching overseas shows and music videos. Many people say that music is their life but to me music is another language that the world needs to learn to stay connected. Music accompanied by dance becomes the ultimate communication skill because even if the person can not understand what you are saying your expressions or your dancing style give them an idea of you as a person.
My playlist mainly Korean but not all of it, I also listen to Hindi, Bengali, English and Chinese music. It doesn't matter the language as long as the music is good and it makes you feel good it's considered good music.
