I think the article is quite difficult for people to comprehend because looking at the statistics, the less people that there are in jail the less crime there is. Most people would think that there is something wrong because if more 'bad' people are in prison, there would be less crime, but that isn't the case. Another weird thing is that when crime in New York was low, crime in the United States was high and when crime in the United States was low, crime in New York was high. What causes this to happen?
