Today, I was surfing the web for some new music. I stumbled upon what I would call pure gold. I was so impressed by a 21 year old violin player that I had to write about it. His name is Peter Lee Johnson and has been playing violin since he was four. He focuses mainly on doing “covers” of popular music you would hear on the radio. But what makes his covers so unique is the fact that they are something completely new. He doesn’t play the notes of the original song; he plays his own, creating a totally new and fresh sounding cover.
Why is it hard for me to think of a question that captures something that I’m interested in? Maybe it’s because I don’t see the point of having this class because all you do is get on some website and write about dumb stuff and comment on strangers work. Also I’m not that social type so I don’t know why the teacher want to force me to talk when I don’t want to. Also I’m not interested in a lot of stuff so I believe that is also a reason for me not to come up with a topic question.
