I created a simple pong game. In order to do this, I used a video tutorial to help me. I liked learning how to create the scratch animation from looking at a video. Since we each watched the video on our own, we were able to go at our own pace. If we didn't understand something we could rewind the video and look at it again. We could also pause it if we wanted to work on ours after we saw what was in that part of the video. The problem that I had with watching the video was that I couldn't ask questions I had he couldn't explain something I didn't understand.

On Thursday November 10,2011 we watched a 3-part tutorial that showed us how to make the game Pong. I used the tutorials as guides in helping me make Level 1 of my Pong game. As I was watching the tutorials I learned that the way the blocks were ordered had mattered a great deal when it came to making sure that the animation worked properly. I liked learning this way because it allowed me to work at my own pace. It also allowed me to work individually and be able to watch the tutorial again that would show me what I had possibly missed.

On Thursday, I had watched a tutorial, which taught me how to create the game pong. Using this information, I was able to create my own version of this game and created two levels. The tutorial had taught me had to write the script, this way the game would flow correctly. I think this was a good method, because we were able to explore scratch as well as use the information from the tutorial. The only problems I had with this, is that I’m a visual learner. So it is difficult for me, when the tutorial is overall, a lot of speaking and pointing.

Scratch is a computer program in which you can create amusing animations or games. Using guidelines from my mentor and watching video tutorials, I was able to create my first electronic game on scratch. I have created the game of Pong and Breakout using Scratch. Creating the game was very difficult but eventually I made it through. I had started the process of creating my levels of Pong on Thursday, the ninth of November. In order to get a better sense of how the create the game of Pong of scratch, I had seen video tutorials online.

On Thursday November 10, I created electronic games by using Scratch and tutorials. The game I had created was based on the game Pong. Pong is a game that was having the ball that was moving around the screen to not touch the bottom of the screen. The player would have to use a paddle that was controlled by the mouse to stop the ball from falling to the bottom of the screen. Scratch was used to help create the game and the tutorials are the videos that show how to create the game Pong. Using the tutorial was a fun way to help me create my game.

I had made my first electronic game on thursday november 10. I had used a program called scratch in order to create the scripts and characters for my game. The game that I had created is a modified version of the game pong. The objective of the game is to keep the ball from falling into the red space.

Last Thursday, November 10th, my Technology class and I were introduced to the making of the game Pong. Obviously we all knew the simple game, since it is one of the most basic games known to gamers worldwide. It's the typical online game of ping pong, there's a ball and a paddle. The paddle is usually controlled by the player's mouse. As soon as the game starts, the ball will start bouncing around the screen. The objective of the game is to hit the ball with the paddle, keeping it away from the "danger zone" on the bottom.

On Thursday last week, I learnt how to construct a simple "Pong"-like game on Scratch with a paddle and a ball. As I got more comfortable with creating an interactive animation, I made some modifications and additions of my own including a scoreboard, second ball, and bricks to hit and destroy. When looking at the tutorial for the scratch application on Thursday, November 10, I made my own pong game by using the same steps as the tutorial. The pong game consists of a ball, a paddle and a line. The ball bounces against the wall and against the paddle. The paddle is used to block the ball from the white line which stops the game once it is touched.
