In our technology class, we learned how to create a classic game called pong through tutorials. We watched two videos which showed us what actions (blocks) we needed to put together on scratch to make the game. We were able to modify the game to a theme of our choice after completing the basis of the game. I made my game alien themed, the point was he was trying to get back to his UFO but every time he got close the machine would malfunction and knock over other planets(bricks)instead of picking him up.

This is my first Scratch game. It is called Pong Pong. It wasn't exactly put on the Scratch website but this is the name. It was game I made with the help of some tutorial videos you could find on this website. http://learnscratch.org/sc3-u3/sc3-112. Tha tutorials taught me brand new things to do on the Scratch application. Things like add a scoredoard, make the game a breakaway version and much more! Personally, I would choose not to learn that way again. The expereince was not the best. I sometimes had problems being able to understand what the narrator was aying.

By working at one's own pace and having visual and audio aid, one can learn how to make a game in a matter of minutes and explore their own creativity when working. Using video tutorials instead of live tutorials truly helps with the process of making a game, and it is the future of teaching computer sciences.
