`I'm turning six years old today and i'm going to the beach. the ocean water was clear as like it came out of a fossett. It sounded soothing to my ears. It smealed like salty water. my mom asked me to hold the umbrella suddenly the wind started to pick up and it picked me up off the ground and i was sucked into the ocean i was drowning and i fell to the bottom of the ocean and i was dead that was the end of my sixth birthday
It was dark, no light. The feel of ghostly water touched my hands. Hard nothingness floating around me. I am not in the sky, nor am I in the water. Clear black depths all around me that seem to have voices I can not hear. Warm consciousness fills my head, and I remember. I try to remember at least.. I want to remember what happened. I want to look and see, but my eyes are closed, yet also open inside me. I want to see outside, but something blocks my sight. I wonder if my friends are scared. Are they like this too? I hope my family is not worried.
“Are there only two choices open to the writer of fiction? Create a handsome heroes and ugly villains or ugly heroes and handsome villain” (Mueller and Reynolds 98).
“Labeling people with adjectives is direct, but also kind of dull” (101).
“Even in a brief short story, the characters will seem more interesting and more lifelike if you have them act out their personality and leave it up to your readers to judge what kinds of people they are” (103).

January 25th, 2013. I’m on my “straight guy” Facebook profile. I check the news feed and see many posts about my dad saying “Hope you feel better” and “God please help him”. To me he was sick, so I ask my mom why everyone was so worried. She told me that my dad was in the hospital which got me even more worried. She told me that he was not feeling very well. I was convinced by my own mind that he was going to heal from the sickness I was told he had.
However shocking and unusual the ancient story of Gilgamesh may first seem, it is actually the archetypal Epic. The structure for an archetypal Epic is: unusual circumstances of birth, leaves family and lives with others, traumatic event leads to quest, special weapon supernatural help, proves himself on quest, journey and unhealable wound, atonement with father, spiritual apotheoses. However The Epic of Gilgamesh may not follow this structure completely, it is still the archetypal Epic.

In this project, you start by opening the Scratch program. You have to learn to use Scratch first. Make your own backgrounds at Stage and either import or create your own sprite. Give them things to do like speak, think, make noise, move and lots of other things. You will have to assign these things to a specific sprite. You will have to give the background something like switching its “costume”. To make a continuous conversation one after another, you will have to use hats and to broadcast things to make it work well.

A long time ago, in a small town there was this girl whose name was Anna. She was going outside to get dinner for her brother and sister. On her way to the market, she saw a little boy on the corner of the street, she ignored him and went inside to buy what she needed. After she was done, she left and was on her way home but she saw the little boy from earlier. He was staring at her. She went up to him and was thinking to herself he's very skinny and his clothes are all dirty, he said to her "Excuse me miss but can you please spare any food at all?".
“But mom I don’t wanna go to the states! I wanna stay here with my friends and live my life here in Korea!” said Go Dok Mi.
“But honey, you will have so many opportunities in the state, the stuff they have over there, can’t even compare from here, and you’d get a better education so that you can become a lawyer, like you’ve always wanted” said Dok Mi’s umma (mom).
“Who said I wanted to be a lawyer, that’s your dream not mine” whispered Dok Mi. “
In the book The Tent by Gary Paulsen Steve and his father Corey are still going around lying about their faith and stealing the money of innocent people. Like in previous chapters the entered the tent like the used to, until they got to the end of the collection portion of their routine. Steve had gotten a more active role in the sermon which is when he goes to pick up the offering. (In the last chapter page 76) As Steve went up his father Corey gave him a cue which was “ He lives in me, He lives in you! God lives!” then he would continue by saying “ And how does he live?
I am reading a book called the Tent by Gary Paulsen. I think it’s pretty good, it’s about a teenage boy name Steven and his father. Steven’s mother apparently ran off with some guy shortly after Steven was born. Still I think even though Steven’s father keep telling Steven “your mother has gone off with a ... well ... a friend” I think he is old enough to know what his father means by that. On top of that they are poor. Living in a ten- year- old rented trailer in a trailer park.
In this video Anthony Johnson and I talk about our experience before and after the storm, "Hurricane Sandy." We talk about how it affected us, how we were able to manage without power, and how we ended up going back to the basics.
One dark, gloomy night there was a little girl playing in her backyard near the woods, named Sally. Sally had been outside for several hours just playing with her dolls when suddenly she saw a tall, skinny man approaching her. She didn't have time to go back to her house and there had been reports of a tall man abducting children near her neighborhood so she did the first thing that came to mind, she ran without thinking into the woods, where she thought she would be able to get away. After several minutes of running, Sally turned around to see if she had escaped.
It was 3 in the morning on a Saturday night. Jessica and her boyfriend Tanner were driving home from a party they had attended. It was Jessica’s first time she had been out after her curfew and she was petrified to go home to her furious mother. “ Let’s take a shortcut,” she said, pointing down a narrow, sinister street that went through an eerie forest. She had been down this same road only once before, and she was unenthusiastic to drive down it again, but she had to get home as soon as possible. They took a left onto the street and made their way down its gravelly path.
