Mitch Albom says that he feels sorry for us because we are texting too much. http://personal.crocodoc.com/ApaB0SM I personly dissagree with his views. Even though I text, I still talk on the phone and talk to people in real life. I have a cousin who lives England and we can't talk on the phone all the time. But with the help of his iPod touch and my iPhone we are able to text and stay in touch more then we would if we had to call each other. We have conversations almost every week and we wouldn't be able to without texting.

My personal opinion is that texting is good. So I disagree with this article http://personal.crocodoc.com/ApaB0SM for many reasons. The article says that teens every day text more than 88 times. I agree on that part that 88 texts are way too much. The most I text a day is probably 60 texts. That is a lot to me. Texting is really easy and is a fast way of communication. It is much easier than calling the person. Calling the person takes much longer. When you text, you can say more and talk for longer. But I don't feel the need to text every second of every day.

I disagree with this writer's point of view. I don't think that texting is bad and makes one less social I think it is the opposite. When you miss a call and your busy you're not going to call that person back, but if you get a text from someone and your busy it's not hard to just pull out your phone and text a few words like "Busy text u l8r." If you were to call that person that would take much longer. Another reason why texting is good is that it can start conversations.

This topic caught my eye because I was thinking of getting a tattoo on my wrist of my grandmother’s name, because she had pasted. As I was thinking long and hard on It, I’d thought to ask my mom on her opinion. My mother then said “well if you want to work in the medical field you don't want a tattoo exposing with would hurt your career”. Then it hit me, why does a tattoo define who we are and hinder some of us to get jobs?
