To make my avatar, I had to plan a lot. First, I made a few design sketches and then I had to pick the one I liked best from there. My avatar shows my love for one direction, and my favorite quote. It also represents my favorite show and what school I go to. I picked the quote, "We accept the love we think we Deserve" because I think it very well represents one of my closest friends. (Can you guess who? SIMRAN :) My avatar also has two flags that show where I am from. It has a flag of the United States and Bangladesh.
I went through a small procedure to create my avatar. First of all, I made three designs. I picked the one that I liked best, and I made some minor changes to it. Next, I searched for websites that allowed me to combine multiple images, as my avatar was composed of multiple images. I then found the pictures (creative commons licensed) and merged them. Last, I uploaded my avatar and I made a 'developer's journal' to describe the process.
What does this avatar remind you of, and how does it represent me?
I used pixlr.com to make this avatar. All the pictures are creative commons; even the background. I added images on to the background and formatted them to save space. I colored in places that were blank and designed it as much as I could. I had many difficulties like trying to crop a picture when I didn't have the option. It was all worth making.
