The topic that I have chosen for my research is self publishing versus traditional publishing. I chose this topic because I have always loved reading books who people who are not really famous, more than those published authors who have made a name for themselves. Some facts that I already knew about this type of publishing is that self publishing is more expensive, since the money is coming out of the author’s own pocket. Also there is no guarantee that the work will be perfect according to the author’s skills in editing. In traditional publishing all the work is done for the author.
So last night, I interveiwed Sara Zarr who is a published author and a friend of the family. Her books are just great. They deal with real teen problems.
