In the past 3 weeks or so, my advisory has been discussing HIV/AIDS and generally sexually-related topics. I'm sure we all know a lot about sex already, given our often immodest culture; a lot of controversial and often uncomfortable issues have been brought up in class. But, generally I think that it was good that we received this curriculum. We learned many important things, and managed to keep our talks civilized and professional (at least as far as high-schoolers can be).
