Lion Mutililates 42 Midgets in Cambodian Ring-Fight.
Unfortunately this story is to good to be true. It is incredibly dramatic, the fact that 42 midgets would actually step in a ring with a lion immieditely grabs the attention of the reader and they read on looking for something to satisfy their curosity. You learn that after only twelve minutes 28 fighters were declared dead and 14 suffered from severe injuries including broken and missing limbs. A lot of British reporters took this internet hoax as an actual event that really happened. I heard about this story from a friend at school who is really into anything british. So I looked it up on google and sure enough it was on the BBC site although there was a disclaimer stating that the article was a fake and is not apart of the BBC.
