I disagree with the author of this article. Although there probably are people who do text 3,000 a month, but the majority of people don't. I myself text people around 20 texts a week.
I mostly use my cellphone as a way to make plans with friends and call my mom. Also, for the people that do text excessively, it would be communications with friends. So how do you lose human interaction when your having hundreds of conversations a month? And, for that matter, is calling people that much better than?
