today the legalization of marijuana is a large and key issue. Recently both Colorado and Washington have legalized it for certain purposes. Not only will this legalization lead to regulation of the drug but it will also help our current day economy. Because we are now deciding to regulate marijuana it could be a helpful step to diminishing the drug cartel's influence in the United States. The problem right now, is because it is not legal nation wide, it is not as effective only going state by state.
