Well, here we go- last youth voices post. There have been lots of 'lasts' recently, which is expected at the end of the school year. But this go around is a bit different, because graduating high school is kind of a big step. The 'lasts' are much more poignant and prominent, and I find myself reveling in the little moments that I normally wouldn't have noticed. So, I think that I'm going to use this post to jot down some of the 'lasts' I have noticed this past month, just because writing them down solidifies things a bit. Okay here goes:
1) Last Judge lunch- went off campus to Koko's Kitchen, completely disregarding the fact that getting caught leaves the delinquent with two detentions, practically un-servable before graduation, meaning that we couldn't walk, but oh well. It was fun. Koko's Kitchen is some crazy Japanese place that serves you fish and noodles in platter sized plates, (a few of us opted for Wendy's and then brought it back), and it was great. Then, we went back to the cafeteria and caught the tail-end of C lunch, and Max and I shared our last Judge cookie ever. Last Judge cookie. Tear.
