Something that I have been interested in learning more about has been tornadoes. I remember the news talking about it but I found it strange in the areas that it happens in. That is when I have been questioning myself about this topic. Do tornadoes happen in the City of New York?
This book was incredibly confusing from the start. Octavian was a boy raised in by a group of philosophers and researchers and scientists who were trying to study everything they could about life to find his meaning. He was raised in a well-off fancy childhood but he and his mother, who was an exiled african princess, were followed and observed and recorded as if they were both part of a giant secret science experiment. Octavian understands almost nothing about the people he belongs to and he never asks questions about why they do the things they do to him.
Something that I have been interested in learning more about has been The Teenage Mind. I remember my mother and I talking about it during an argument, but since I didn’t have anybody backing me up on my thoughts I wasn’t sure if I was right. Lately, the issue has caught my eye again. I know that many people think that the teenage mind is complex. From what I have heard, the average teenager goes through different stages within its mind. For example, I heard that there’s a "rebellion" stage where the teen is at its own mind of state, and wants to do everything.
A fisherman caught a shark in southern California that happened to be pregnant and when he and other scientists saw what was in the womb, they were speechless. They found a shark that was a cyclops (one eye) and through thorough examination they have determined that if the shark was to be born that it would live and see perfectly fine, through one eye of course. Scientists are going to keep the rare find and examine it further.
