When I first looked at the cover of “Their Eyes were watching god” by Zora Neale Hurston I figured it would take place on a field. Also by the title maybe it was going to be religious. However both my first impressions turned out to be wrong. The story starts out on a porch with women and talks about the differences between men and women. Here are my thoughts on that differentiation. Men are physically stronger than women and women are emotionally stronger. A woman can be more expressive of emotions than a man.
This picture represents the topic I'm working on because it shows a bunch of a names carved on a memorial. Memorials are important because they signify the death of soldiers and these names demonstrate their brave and greatness in serving the country a favor.
