The lasting image of Christmas has always been the Christmas tree. For hundreds of years, trees have decorated rooms around the world in hopes that Santa will come bearing gifs.
I feel that this image portrays an unusual perspective. I was able to produce this photograph by positioning myself under my subject. Instead of focusing on the subject, I decided emphasize and concentrate on the shoes. I think what makes this image interesting is the branches from the tree that are sprawling around my subject.
I feel that this image portrays a creative and unusual perspective. I was able to produce this portrait by arranging myself almost directly under my subject with a slight angle. I think the branches from the tree in the background make the image more interesting, therefore helping to give the effect of an unusual perspective.
This piece is a diagonal image, because of the branch going across the photo. The branch gracefully leads your eye to the sun in the corner. I feel that the perspective in this gives the photo an inspiring feeling. Looking up the trunk of a tree is a somewhat common photo, but I feel the way the leaves are incorporated and the two branches almost intertwine makes this photo more original.
This photo demonstrates shape and light. The leaves are all a unique shape each with their own personal characteristics. The sunlight also plays a strong part in this photo. The sunlight shines from the top right corner casting shadows on leaves in the bottom left corner. The leaves that are the subject also clearly stand out against the dark and undefined background.
The way that this picture is cropped makes the view totally different. In the original photo, there was more to the picture and the leaves were just a detail. But instead,in this photo the leaves are the main subject of the photo.
This is the original photo that I took. I chose this photo to show how New York does have nature and antique buildings and not just tourist places such as Time Square and the Statue of Liberty. There is plenty of nature involved in New York and it's just not an advanced city.
