3 batches of milk powder are being recalled in China after more than 1600 infants become ill after drinking it. This milk reportedly contains the chemical melamine, a banned substance. Chairwoman, who of course was fired, of the Sanlu group, distributor of the milk says that the melamine was added to make the protein content seem higher.
