This was an unusual perspective because it was taken at a cartain angle but it looks like the water is going upside down. I thought the water looked dangerous like it was going to drag someone in which is how I view the east river anyway.
I edited this photo to make the water look more inviting and warm even though it is dull, polluted and cold. I used levels, dodging, burning, and color balance for the sky. The sky was gray before I edited it to look blue and summerish.
I took this picture in the morning on a cloudy day . I thought it was interesting how the rose was coming out of the pot, and I decided to take a picture of it, from the roses level. This made sure that the rose was the main point of the picture. I used the burning tool to make the corners of the rose darker, deepening the shaddow.
This is a picture I edted to make the colors of the tree stand out more and the building behind it stan out less. I used burning and dodging along with the sponge tool to do this.
This image was taken in the morning on a cloudy day. I liked how the bird was flying overhead and I decided to capture the imgae. I used the dodge tool to make the background sky lighter, and I used the burn to make the bird darker. Tihs put an emphasise on the bird, and brought the attention of the viewer on the bird.
