I think the epic of Gilgamesh have so much repetitions because the author is trying to make readers remember that scene. That scene is important because it is about Gilgamesh and Enkidu fighting the watchman, Humbaba. Gilgamesh was nervous about fighting Humbaba because he is a monster and he is huge.
In the Book of Exodus, there are a few important characters. There is Moses, the LORD, Aaron, the Pharaoh, the Egyptians, and the Israelites. Moses was put in a basket and placed in the river as a baby by his mother, in an effort to save him. He later made contact with the LORD, and soon began to follow the orders of the LORD. The LORD guided Moses in the struggle against the Egyptians while trying to gain freedom for his fellow Israelites. Aaron was Moses’ brother, and helped him with all the orders that he had to follow to free the Hebrews.
Well a few days ago I picked up Ricks Newest book, "The Lost Hero" at my local bookstore. The book has 533 pages and continues the story from the last book except it uses 3 new heroes, Leo, Jason, and Piper. I personally am only half way done, but I have enjoyed every moment of it so far. If you need a new book to read I would suggest this wonderful read.
In every sport there is someone who revolutionized the sport. Someone who oversaw the boundaries and took it one step farther. There is Travis Pastrana who did the first double backflip on a motorcycle. There is Jamie Pierre who set the world record for highest cliff jumped on skis after throwing himself off a 255 foot cliff. There is Dave Mirra who did the first double backflip on a bmx bike. Then there is Shane McConkey. Shane was a professional skier who singlehandedly changed the sport of skiing to what it is today. He invented the wide, reverse camber powder ski. This may not seem like that big of a deal to some, but for die-hard skiers this means you can ski faster and with less effort on those nice powder days. Your tips stay above the snow so you don't have to use all your leg strength trying to lean back so you don't rag doll down the mountain.
my inspiration is my mom because she guides me through the thick snd thin and tells mi things that i might find offensive but it's just to better myself.
