In lesson 2 of chemistry, I'm learning about the physical and chemical properties/changes and there differences. Also learning about what is matter. I found out that matter is anything that involves mass and volume. The properties of matter is extensive/intensive or physical/chemical. Matter is composed of atoms. Physical properties can be measured without changing the chemical's identity. Mixing together substances, cutting, ripping, tearing, shattering, and phase changes are physical changes. For example, breaking and ripping a cookie and boiling water are physical properties.
