I think the biggest thing people need to realize about Death Row, is that we may think we know a lot about it, but there is so much more behind it. There are many ways that capital punishment is carried out, and sometimes, the accused are innocent. I specifically remember reading an article about a man who was on death row for many years, and after many reviews of his case, was released. The article was titled “My Life on Death Row”. It was written by a man named Wilbert Rideau who was in April of 1962, arrested, chained, and transported to Louisiana’s Death Row.
