My top two intelligences are Bodily-Kinetic and Verbal-Spatial. I learn best by doing things physically and I also enjoy to act, dance, and do sports.

The chances of getting to the NFL are not as high as people think they are? You must be very stronger and have a lot of endurance.

What is swimming?

Swimming is not what everyone thinks it is. Some people think that they can just get in the water and go, but there is more to than that.

A Sports' Phenomenon

My brother hit the court during basketball practice this past weekend -- literally. He fell and hit his head hard enough to scare his coach pretty well. Thankfully he didn't get a concussion. The scary thing is that he aslo plays football. One injury that is becoming more common in sports is a concussion.

What are you Supposed to be?

As I sat and watched the Jazz game last week I found myself almost as entertained by their mascot, "The Bear", as I was by the game itself. I soon heard that "The Bear" was inducted into the mascot hall of fame the previous season. Then I began to think about all the awful mascots that were out there.

Well I'm wondering why come some students like myself always have the easy way out because we play sports.

I think that I get the picture because us sports players have alot on back such as winning, academics, fans, and our school spirit.

Hello everybody! Right now in my English class we are reading Whale Talk. Which is about a boy named T.J. who is a mix of different race who has a difficult life, but he doesn't let it get the best of him. At his high school, Cutter High jocks rule the school. Mostly everybody cares about sports at his school and everyone who owns a letter jacket is basically worshipped.

How well will I succeed in gymnastics? (part 5)

Submitted by 12popperh on Fri, 2009-01-09 09:50

I thought a lot about my question over time and making these different posts. I  thought about where I came from, what I am doing, and how will I get to where I want to be. I thought about my different accomplishments and struggles already, from winning level 5 states, winning on vault in level 6, and winning bars in level 7 and getting the highest score in the whole competition.

I took this picture because I was there at the gymnastics Olympic trials and I thought it was so cool to see all this great gymnasts and future Olympic team members personally. I was very lucky to be able to get close enough to take the picture.

Terrell Owens
