Foreign

Not far from the southern portion of Florida, there lays a Caribbean island named Cuba, a country with an odd relationship with the United States. Many Americans haven’t had the opportunity to interact with this native Cuban culture. This lack of interaction is due to the “freeze” of relations between the U.S. and Cuba beginning in 1960. This embargo was necessary back then, but now I believe that the total embargo is ultimately hindering both countries economically and culturally.
