I am just mainly talking about my opinion on the book and how I wish it to continue. I am not yet certain on if I like the book or not and hoping it gets a bit more interesting. To Kill a Mockingbird has many different themes like racism, and doing what it right when society thinks its wrong.
Alot of current events have happened in Maycomb County. The most important highlight event is the court trials. The jury listens to both sides of the story Atticus defense side and the victim side. The jury decides to give the victory win to the victim and Atticus loses because his defendant was african american. Do you think the jury was right with their decision?
I am still reading this book, To Kill a Mockingbird, and so far I still dont like it or understand it. I dont get what this mockingbird business is about. why that type of bird?? if anyone knows let me know :)
To kill a mocking bird keeps getting better and better as i go on. Do you think its Disrepectful for Jem and Scout to call their dad Atticus? I think Tom Robinson has been treated horribly and that should never go on. This story looks like it will have a great ending.
I just finished To Kill a Mockingbird for my English class and for those who don't know the story it is about two children named Scout and Jem and their father Atticus who live in the south in Maycomb County. They live in the time period when people judged you by the color of your skin and where race was important in society.
In English class I'm reading To Kill a Mockingbird. The people that I would like to discuss about is Atticus and Tom. Atticus is the father of Scout and Jem. Jem and Scout are upset that their father is going to be defending a black male. The case is that the Tom raped a nineteen year old. How could he have raped someone when he is crippled? The black male was accused of rape and was sent to jail because they lost the case. He tried to escape from jail and was shot to death. Atticus and town were very upset. Do you think that Tom was innocent or not?
