Good morning delegates of the General Assembly and chairperson. My name is Ahla Osman and along with Mehtab Bahar, we are honored to represent the country of Turkey. We are here to discuss the matter that Syria’s civil war will soon affect our country of Turkey. It is a great concern to our people, especially since Syria has chemical weapons that are continuously being thrown at us.

Something that I have been interested in learning more about has been if joining the army is beneficial like some soldiers and sergeants say. I remember an army sergeant at the hispanic parade in the Bronx, NY talking about it. Unfortunately I couldnt learn more about the army because I was just passing through and I had to go home. Lately, the issue has caught my eye again. I know that many people feel that the army is not good because, many soldiers get killed and their families suffer.
This new robot is the next big thing! It's small copact size and dual capability of navigating land and air can make it a valubale tool in future missions for the military. Since many of the operations in the military are dangerous this could now be done by this robot which can perform land and air operations. This not only would help save soldiers lives by not putting them directly in the action durring an operation but it could perhaps save the military money. Fewer planes or helicopters would be needed if this robot were to be implemented in the furture.
