This is a Photograph taken by Karl Blossfeldt. It's called Cirsium oleraceum. This picture represents what he has taken and how he "shaped" his work. He often sculpted his subjects, which were plants, and posed them for a picture. He also has a variety of portraits. He has only Black and White photography and is a very skilled photographer. We compared his photography with Imogen Cunningham's. The photo really makes you look twice. I learned that there are many things that you can do with a 'subject' to make the photo look beautiful and unique. I enjoyed learning about him!
