I chose this photo for my Backlighting assignment because I liked it the most out of all of the backlighting photos that I shot. This photo demonstrates a unique vantage point because, although you may not be able to tell, I am very low to the ground. I selected this image for the Portrait assignment because I liked how it came out and it was the best portrait shot that I had. The printing went really well, I only had to make a few prints and I didn’t have to burn, dodge, or use any filters.
I selected this image for our Stop Action assignment. I shot this in a completely dark room with a strobe light on, which acted as a flash when shooting, and froze the moving object (in this case a ball being juggled) whenever it flashed. This could also fulfill the requirements of the Portrait assignment.
I chose this image for the Depth of Field assignment because it meets the requirements of the assignment, and it was my favorite Depth of Field shot. It could also be used for my Sense of Place assignment, because this photo was shot not far from my home.
