I took one of my pictures that had a really nice focus for it, so that I can cut out the foreground and put it on another background from creative commons. I used Photoshop to merge the photos, one of a flower in Astoria Park and another of a snow scene. I chose specifically those two pictures because their complete opposites and yet they work well together. I chose a flower that was growing in the fall as the positive space, and the negative space as a frozen pond. I positioned the flower in a way to show that it would look like it's growing in such a dead environment. The point of this photo was to show no matter how completely different things seem from each other, but they could still work out together.
