Tony

My name is Tony. I am a Mexican American boy living in the Bronx. I’ve lived most of my life in the Bronx. A turning point was this past Saturday because I had won my 4th indoor soccer tournament with my team Azteca Jr. F.C. I played goalkeeper in 2 games and defense in both. I learned that I can do make it far if I take my time.

I like algebra because it’s interesting and numbers wasn’t my favorite thing. But I learned to appreciate them. I also like gym because I learn how to play different sports. I like stay fit. So I play tennis after school in Fridays. I also stay in music class because I love music. I listen to dub-step, heavy metal, and a little bit of rap.

What I enjoy out of school is exercise. I love playing many different sports. Especially soccer. I like to play goalkeeper and defender. Since my cousin plays in the same team, I feel like it’s more of a family thing. Since my uncle coaches my team. My dad taught me how to play soccer since I was just a little kid. I owe everything I know to my dad and uncle.
